    Fun Bike!

Posted by Michael Lang on 24th Jun 2024

I purchased this bike about two weeks ago and already have more than 70 miles on it. It is so much fun to run errands now! I added saddle bags and other storage and can haul plenty of items.

    Great Bike-Poor Quality Parts

Posted by Darrell Odonnell on 8th Jun 2024

I LOVED this bike for the 2 weeks I had it. Several comments whenever I took it out. Purchased for leisure and after dinner rides. The second day I had the bike the sixth gear tine was missing an edge and the chain would fall off. I decided to keep it in 4th gear to keep the chain on. The second week after only 4 short leisure rides the metal block on the neck cracked. Unfortunately I had to return the bike. Would consider an upgraded version in the future if the parts were better quality.

    Well built

Very easy to assemble. No extra tools needed. This is my very 1st ebike. Did a little digging to get what fits best for my stat. I’m about 5-6’-130 so I feel the scrambler style fits my build. A little bit on the heavy side but I’m able to lift upstairs if needed. After assembly I took to a bike shop to check if everything was right, found the handle bars were kinda loose so check if everything’s tightened before you go out n thrash. I already put 325mi on the OD. As the battery depletes the climb gets weaker so when you go up hills at full bars you can go 14mph and @1-2 bars it goes down to 8-10mph. Haven’t been able to fully deplete the batt going to & from work which is abt 15-17 mi round trip & usu when I get back home I’m @ 2-1 bars showing in the panel but I check the bars on the batt itself it’s always @3bars so the readings seem slightly misleading. It takes about 4-5hrs to fully charge. It made going to & from work a lot more fun.

    Very fun to ride!

Posted by Samantha Johnson on 30th May 2024

This is my first E-Bike but ive rode on a couple of my friends e-bike and I must say that this is one of the best bikes ive driven. It has 6 speeds which makes it easy to ride on different terrains while the pedal assist and throttle makes commuting a breeze. The price wasnt bad either considering I got it on sale. Well see how durable it is after a couple of months.

I loved it so much, I bought 2!

Posted by Molly Alvarez on 14th May 2024

I purchased my first SWFT ZIP, 3 weeks ago. After 3 days I went back and bought another. I had researched almost every e-bike on the market. For styling and cost, the ZIP seemed to be the best choice for my first purchase. The real comforting factor was that I could purchase it from Best Buy and easily return it if I wasn't pleased. I loved it from the moment I unpacked it and put it together. It was well protected and extremely easy to assemble. The first ride was a blast. I am 6' 1" and weight 220 lbs. and the power of the motor shocked me. It did take a little practice to get use to the different settings of peddle assist and throttle. There is a slight delay in throttle reaction when you transition from peddle assist to throttle but it is very minor and easy to get adjusted to. The only drawback is a slight lunge when the pedal assist kicks in, which is only noticeable on flat or downhill grades. The ZIP is great fun, compact to store, and seems to be very well built.

    One Year Review

Posted by Joshua Wilson on 13th May 2024

I bought this bike March 2022 and used it to commute to and from work to avoid parking fees. It is 5.2 miles each way, with a full battery I can get to work, back home and back to work again on a single charge with no peddling. See the picture, my odometer is currently at 270 miles. The removable battery makes charging easy. The only problems I had with the bike were in the first week. A small piece of wood punctured the rear wheel and blew out, almost throwing me off. I had to replace the tube and tire, I filled it with Flat Out and havent had any problems since. The day after I fixed the tire, I hit a hard bump and the kickstand popped open and it got ripped off. I recovered it and removed the broken screws. I contacted the company and they wanted $2 each plus tax and shipping. I still dont have a kickstand. Some tips: Get some rearview mirrors. I use the Meachow bike mirrors. I tried several turn signal options and they all broke easily. Oil your wheels. If there is friction you will drastically lose battery life. I use the NDakter bike bag, it fits in the triangle under the seat and holds all the tools I need to fix the bike, as well as a mini pump and patch kit. I use the Sigtuna U bike lock, the lock fits perfect on the center support.
