This lens takes beautiful sharp pictures. I use this for portraits, and am always impressed by the quality of this lens

AMAZING!
We have rented Sigma lenses in the past and ended up loving their performance in comparison to the Canon L series lenses for half the cost! So sharp, vibrant colors, etc. We now own a Sigma 30mm, and now this Sigma 50mm. 100% would recommended to any photographer who wants great quality, without having to spent too much money!
