    Great efficiency!

Posted by David Flores on 26th Jun 2024

This card is great for gaming in 1440p on high/ultra. It’s super efficient and runs really cool compared to previous gen RTX cards or any new Radeon card. Undervolted, my 4070 consumes about 175-180W at full load. Really happy with the performance of it, and the Founder’s Edition version just looks so sleek. The box it comes in is pretty cool too.

    Amazing card- low power consumption

Posted by Steven Hansen on 15th Jun 2024

Pros: -runs all my games at maxed, while running 2 monitors and a VR headset -runs super cool, from 50C to 55C under load -RGB - quiet, large fans keep the card cool without sounding like a jet engine Cons: - huge card, takes up almost 4 slots, covers all but one pci-e x1 slot on my motherboard - power adapter works but is ugly - overpriced when compared to AMD cards - barely fits in a corsair 4000D (but it does!) Overall Review: Honestly, it's a beast of a card in multiple ways. After not being able to get my hands on a 4090, i figured this would be something i could actually buy. I would definitely buy this card again, even if the "value" is better elsewhere, as i had a 2070 super and it was time for an upgrade. It's been quiet, the RGB is tastefull, and it feels good to actually fill out a case with hardware this big. I've been trying all of my most demanding games and have been enjoying the ability to max them all out and not see low frame rates in anything

    Great GPU

Posted by Daniel Thompson on 14th Jun 2024

The GPU itself is not bad but for $600 its a bit steep comoare to the AMD counterpart, the thing is that you still getting Nvidia’s latest technology with DLSS 3.5 frame generation and better Ray tracing integration, performance wise is only an 18-20% increase from 30 series really its selling point is the new DLSS and the feame generation otherwise it would be very comparable to the 3070 pr 3080,price wise compared to other Nvidias not Founders Edition like gigabyte, Asus, or MSI that are almost $800 performance per buck is pretty good. Overall great card recommend if you are in a 20 series or older.

    Stylish, Cool, and Economically Smart

Posted by Richard Melendez on 10th Jun 2024

The 4070 FE stands out as an excellent choice for those who seek performance without the steep price. While the 4090 might be overpriced for many, the 4070 FE hits the sweet spot, offering great value for money. It's especially commendable for its cool temperature management in small form factor setups, even while playing high-end games. Its aesthetic design is a bonus, making it a perfect blend of style, efficiency, and affordability for both work and gaming needs.

    Awesome card for the price

Posted by John Krueger on 6th Jun 2024

After some research, I selected this card for specs and price. I am delighted with its performance. I can run even the most recent games with good resolution and frecuency. It is also a nice card stethically speaking. Only suggestion is that at least the visible fan should have option to select RGB lighting

    Great performance, Ok value

Posted by Brian Wilson on 31st May 2024

Finally, a 40-series card that doesn't require a case the size of an aircraft hangar. The card is small enough to fit comfortably in a compact ITX case and still runs quiet and cool even under full load. Performance isn't a big step up from the 3070 and is about equivalent to a 3080, although it uses significantly less power and gives access to current gen features like DLSS 3. For a 70-class card, this should be about $100 cheaper though. If you don't mind the Nvidia tax, this will probably end up being the most reasonable card in the 40-series lineup.

Very impressed, but not a fan of the price.

Posted by Kristina Miller on 28th May 2024

Coming from an RTX 3080 FE, this was a nice upgrade. The card is physically smaller, quieter and very power efficient. Performance is on par or slightly faster than my 3080, but the increase in VRAM from 10GB to 12GB, DLSS 3 and the excellent thermals is a big plus in my use case. The only negative thing I have to say about the 4070 is the price... If NVIDIA would've kept the $499 price of last generation's 3070, this card would be perfect. Anyone looking to build a new system or upgrade their old GPU will not be disappointed with this card. I highly recommend!

Great power, good looks and good price.

The 4070 founders edition is a fabulous card. No wonder since it sold out in my area shortly after to was released. Clean design and very powerful for the money. The only disappointment is the NVidia logo does not light up. Not a big deal at all if you have a case with a million lights anyway. I highly recommend buying this card if you want to stay on a good budget and get great performance for 1440p gaming. 4K is also playable but depending on the game, you will need to tune the quality settings. Bravo NVidia for another terrific card!

    Little Graphics Card that Could-ish.

Posted by Mrs. Erin Flynn on 26th May 2024

For small Form factor PC builds, it's a great graphics card. Very low power draw and excellent performance at 1080p and 1440p. Works well with photoshop and editing videos via low-rez proxy files. Would not recommend for 4k gaming unless you've okay with 30fps performance.
