Powerful food processor for most of your needs!

Posted by Joshua Oliver on 11th Apr 2024

I have been a fan of Ninja products and they have never let me down. This food processor is no exception. It has a powerful motor that can produce a peak power of 1200 watts that should be more than enough for any of your kitchen needs. The base has suction cups that makes the base stable and keeps it in place while using it. The box includes a 12 cup bowl, Feed chute with 3-part pusher (small, medium and large), chopping and dough blade assemblies, slicing discs, a storage box and an inspiration guide. So far, we have used it for slicing, shredding and making dough for cooking and baking and here are our first impressions. The adjustable slicing discs are super useful and versatile. These can be used to shred and slice as per your preferred size. We have used them to grate cheese, shred carrots and Zucchini. We have also used it to slice potato chips. All the shredding and slicing results have been perfect and uniform. The chopping function works as expected. Large bowl is able to handle up 3 lbs of dough. The attached hard shell storage case is quite useful. It helps to store all the attachments (blades and discs) and reduces the risk of losing them or hurting themselves accidently. The base has four preset programs (Chop, Dough, Puree and Disc) which makes its operation super simple. Most of the parts are dishwasher safe which makes cleaning super simple. Overall, it is a very versatile food process and a must have kitchen accessory. Highly recommended.

    Great Food Processor

Posted by Craig Roberts on 10th Apr 2024

I like this processor a lot because it is very versatile. It has preset and manual speed options, various blades/tools, and a large capacity container. The chute(s) to insert the food can accept small, medium, and large pieces. It has three different chutes depending on the food item's size, so choose the appropriate size to prevent the food from flopping inside the chute. So far, I haven't had food stuck in the lid when shredding/slicing discs are used. The cord wrap in the back is great when storing the appliance, and the cord is a decent length, 32 inches. The storage container holds the two different discs, the disc spindle and the dough blade. The chopping blades can only be stored in the processor bowl. I use the dough blade attachment to make lemon scones, which the recipe is in the provided booklet. It is fast and straightforward. The scones come out perfect, and everyone loves them. When I make tuna, I use a lot of chopped onions and celery. I am glad for this food processor because I no longer have to shed tears. Salpicon de res (shredded/ chopped beef) is my favorite recipe, and the chopper makes the process a lot easier. I cut an eyed round roast beef into medium chunks and place them in boiling water with onion, garlic, and other spices until fully cooked. Once cooked, I drain it and let it cool a bit. Then I insert the chunks into the food processor using the chopping blade and a few pulse speeds until the cooked beef is finely chopped. The meet will look like a tuna textured. To conclude, I am delighted with my new Ninja food processor. It is versatile, and the bowl is large enough, eat is easy to use, and works great.
