    Solid and Sturdy but...

Posted by Amy Reed on 28th May 2024

I have tried multiple microphone stands for my computer setup and this is by far the most sturdy. I love how easy it is to setup and come apart. The only concern is the stand doesn't go very low most likely due to my mic not being very heavy. If you have a lightweight mic you will want to mount the base far from your seat if you want the mic at mouth level or lower. If you keep your mic above your head facing down, then this will be a great addition to your computer setup. I included a picture showing how far I have to mount in order to get mic at mouth level or below.

    Good and Reliable Boom Arm

Posted by Jesus Perry on 19th May 2024

I would have given a 5 star rating but it doesn't fill sturdy enough. Also, Auphonix Pop Filter doesn't fit too well, but it works. I expected more. That aside, it came with all the necessary instructions, pretty easy to install and no issues so far.

    Tensioners are garbage.

Posted by Joe Brown on 16th May 2024

Purchesed one. Tensioners would not work as they advertised, exchanged it for a second arm, pulled it out of the box tried it and it seemed fine. When i got it home, same problem. This mic stand is pure trash. Thr tensioners (even the screw on the bottom) do. A poor job of actually being tense and holding the mic stand in place, it always returns to a semi 90 degree angle. Expected more for 100. 10/10 would use as a laundry hook. Whst a p.o.j.

    Mic Arm

I love the product I use it all the time. I do wish the weight for it to be held lower was slightly better only reason it gets a 4 star

    Highly recommend! Quiet, smooth, professional.

Really solid and well worth the extra investment. No springs that make noise or look cheep. You have to adjust the tension to match your mic, but once you do it's a really smooth and professional mic boom arm.

    Mic stand

Its work as in tended the turning points are stiff but can hold the mic with minimal movement from where you want to position it.

    This boom arm is garbage!!!!

Posted by Michael Hickman on 22nd Apr 2024

This boom arm is garbage. I had to tighten the pivot tighteners so hard that it broke apart because the boom arm wants to extend to it's original position and the. Pivot tighteners are not strong enough to hold. The boom arm in place Don't waste your money on this product

    Good for heavier mics.

Posted by Paul Thomas on 21st Apr 2024

Solid construction and sleek design. Ive paired this with a Shure SM7B, a mic a bit on the heftier side. The arm works well with heavy microphones as it has a tendency to lift itself up. I've recorded without much of an issue, but there's certain positons the arm still struggles to keep, as I said it tends to lift itself up a bit. The setup can be a bit tedious, as it'll lift itself a bunch more without the mic's counterweight. All in all it works for what I need it for. I wouldn't recomend this item for light microphones as it probably wont stay in your desired position.
