Compact and cordless with adjustable flow

Posted by Jeffrey Hart on 18th Jun 2024

Compact cordless flosser comes with many tips and adjustable water pressure. Long battery life. My only complaint is its loudness.

    Loud, but works

Posted by Toni Ward on 14th Jun 2024

Noisy, but functions. Not sure if it's actually improving my teeth entirely since I haven't seen my dentist yet. Charging could connect better, usually have to fiddle with it a little to work.

TO H20-PICK OR NOT TO H20-PICK

Posted by Tina Giles on 10th Jun 2024

Pros: instructions are good. For example, insert the pick into mouth before turning it on. Warm water is recommended, as cold may be too much for sensitive gums/teeth. Reservoir holds enough water for a thorough cleaning. There are 10 settings for pressure -- best to start with a low setting and work up to the higher. Cons: can be very messy! The wand isn't always easy to turn off. This can lead to a panic attack with water going everywhere.

    Great power

My first unit arrived not working- the on/off switch on the wand did not respond. I have to say the customer service for Waterpik was AWESOME and immediately sent me a new unit that arrived within about 2 days. I put the unit to a tough test. I ate ribs and did not brush or floss before trying. I started on the lowest pressure and did need to increase slowly but the Waterpik removed all of the food from between my teeth. The unit comes with several tips and the directions indicate what each is for- There is one for braces, partials, etc. I like the regular one and the one for plaque removal. My teeth feel super clean when finished. The unit is small and does not take up much space on the counter but the water reservoir is still plenty large to be able to completely clean your teeth without running out. I previously had a handheld unit but found that it did not hold enough water for a complete cleaning and the location of the buttons was where my hand went to hold the unit and I kept accidentally changing pressure and turning it off. The wand of this unit is comfortable and easy to hold. There is plenty of cord to reach your sink but it coils back up nicely to the unit. The wand is held in place magnetically so it "clicks" back in place when not in use. I like that it is rechargeable and I don't have yet another electrical cord in the bathroom. My one outlet is already overloaded with other plugs! This is easy to set up and use so I can see it being a regular in my daily oral care routine. They say the charge lasts about 30 days. I have not had it that long but we will see.

My first waterpik and I love it.

Posted by Jacob Martinez on 24th May 2024

I read a good amount of reviews and I was still skeptical about the purchase. After my first use of the water pic I was sold and no regrets whatsoever. The battery life is good .very comfortable and easy to use.

    No more dentist!!!

Keep your mouth clean has never been so easy, totally recommended, lots of functions, and easy to use, just one warning, is kinda loud, so keep in mind if you want to use it at bed time or late hours.

    Almost perfect

Posted by Robert Willis on 11th May 2024

I've owned Waterpik products in the past and they've always performed better and lasted longer than similar off-branded models sold on Amazon or ebay. You pay more initially but I think it's worth it in the end. Ion Water Flosser pros and cons: Cons: 1. I wish it had a slightly smaller profile and a carry case for traveling and/or camping. Because the device is rechargeable, you'd almost expect this. As it is, I'll be carting it around in the box it came in. 2. About 30 seconds after startup, the motor "pips" a couple of times (it almost sounds like the motor is dying for a brief moment) to let you know that it's time to start cleaning the lower half of your mouth. 30 seconds after that, it "pips" again to let you know you're finished. I know that electric toothbrushes use this timing feature as well but I always find it annoying and don't like having my cleaning interrupted by this distraction, so I wish there was a way to turn this feature off. Furthermore, the length of time between each "pip" is only 30 seconds, which in my opinion isn't nearly long enough to clean each half of the mouth. 60 seconds for each half would be much more realistic if you really wanted a good cleaning. Pros: 1. The charged battery lasts a very long time (2 weeks to a month depending on how often it's used) so you don't have to charge it very often. Because of this, you can minimize the clutter on your countertop and go on long trips before needing to recharge. 2. The lighted power button is very accessible on top of the unit so turning it on and off is easy. 3. It's much quieter than any other water flosser I've owned. 4. The pulsating strength can be preset to the speed of your choice so you don't have to reset it each time like other water flossers I've owned have required. 5. The handle that holds the attachments is magnetized so it snaps in place in the magnetic cradle when you're finished using it. Very nice design touch! 5, Excellent warranty and customer service.

    Good for braces

Posted by Anna Pena on 3rd May 2024

It’s a good product, I have braces and it helps me floss without needed to stick string through my brackets. Would recommend for others with braces
