    Quality product

Quality refrigerator, only down side it hums a bit louder than I expected. It did come from the factory with a compressed seal but Viking took care of it right away. Installation was exactly as the instructions explained.

    Great fridge with fantastic performance

Keeps very tight temperature control. Has alarm if door left open, uses very little power 480 watts max. Pricy and heavy 750lb, installation requires professionals

    Poor quality control

Posted by Brett Valdez on 23rd Apr 2024

Below par quality control: The fridge came with the two doors not lined up. Very noisy at times with vibration of certain parts behind the top panel. Good thing is that it is being replaced.

    Viking upgrade

Replaced a 2006 Viking and this is built so much better. Same footprint but a lot more space and LED lights are great!

    WORST REFRIGERATOR EVER!

Posted by Karen Wilkins on 9th Apr 2024

Do not buy this refrigerator! We bought ours 3 years ago and had problems with it within the first 6months approximately. I'm writing this review now because we have still not received a solution to our problem. Our crisper drawers keep collapsing down from their support shelf above. We had service out 5 times and each time they replace parts with the same parts and the same problem kept happening. Then they were telling us it was out of warranty and after complaining that you can't keep installing defective or incorrect parts that don't fix the problem till the warranty runs out and say its out of warranty! Then they sent out a tech that charged us $149.00 to come look at the fridge with the collapsed shelves sitting at the bottom of the fridge making half the fridge unusable and he looks at me and says Yep its broke! A total disgrace for a 10,000.00 refrigerator. Then we complained directly to Middleby Residential who sent another service company out and they confirmed that it was broken but at least they didn't charge us. I've been in touch with Kim at Middleby who has acknowledged that their engineers are aware of the problem and will get back to me, well that was 2/21/21 and no response. So on my $10,000.00 refrigerator I had to rig plastic and brass spacers behind the crisper drawers and shelf above to keep them from falling down. See the images what you are looking at is the plastic spacer and a brass washer wedged behind the shelf that holds the drawers up. Without that wedge the drawers collapse down. How embarrassing! Now the drawers are cracked and broken, the auto closers are broken from falling down so many times. But thanks to my rig at least they don't fall down every time you open a crisper drawer. Also the freezer light only works now and then, mostly it doesn't, the ice bin also over fills and cubes fall over the place. Customer service from Middleby who owns the Viking brand is terrible, Viking doesn't stand behind their product which I'm in total shock of so buyer beware. Go Sub Zero only! Will never buy any Viking product ever!
