    Beautiful but inefficient interior design

Posted by Lisa Taylor on 21st Jun 2024

I love my new refrigerator! It's so beautiful. This finally came after 6 months due to supply chain issues. This was to replace my old Amana fridge (Viking bought Amana) that ran for 25 years. It didn't die on me but it was starting to look too old for my kitchen. The only issue I have with this design (which looks like had a carry over from my old model) is that the inside is not designed to maximize space. The side door plastic holders are too close to each other and doesn't allow you to put sauce containers in an efficient manner. Additionally, there is a large space under the veggie bins that used to be a large pull out drawer but is no longer a pull out drawer. Lastly, the refrigerator runs similarly loudly to other refrigerator models. You would think that a $13k refrigerator would run softly. Dishwashers have figured out ways to run softly. Why can't refrigerators?

    ICE EVERYWHERE!!! DESIGN FLAW

Posted by Carol Young on 14th May 2024

I HAD THIS FRIDGE FOR A WEEK, AND ICE IS CONSTANTLY FALLING OUT ONTO THE FLOOR AND THE INSIDE OF THE FREEZER. DO YOURSELF A FAVOR AND GO FOR THE SIDE BY SIDE. VIKING REPLACED THE ICEMAKER AND THE PROBLEM IS WORSE. I AM EXCHANGING THIS FOR A SIDE BY SIDE.

    nice looking fridge

Posted by Lucas Campbell on 21st Apr 2024

we needed a new fridge for our kitchen and decided to go with viking because of their great quality and also because of the good deal they had with the purchase of kitchen appliances. You get free appliance with the purchase of fridge or stove. now thats a very good deal considering how much these appliances are. the other appliances like kitchen aid sub zero wolf don't have very good offers like the viking brand does. So its better to go with them as you will get free item for your kitchen.

    Worst customer experience ever

Posted by Randy Davis MD on 13th Apr 2024

Pacific appliance customer handling skills have ensured I will never buy anything from them again. Viking was defective after install, I was told buy Geek squad to contact Viking myself as I did not buy their extended protection. The unit was installed at 4 pm and it was obvious by 6 pm that it did not work. Then I am told that it would be a week before they could come back and reinstall my previous unit. Thanks to Viking for getting involved and expediting a new unit in 7 days instead of 4 weeks as Pacific told me. I can promise you that this store made me a believer in Factory Builder stores!

    Unreliable

Posted by Joseph Santos on 9th Apr 2024

We replaced our Viking Built-in Refrigerator (18 years old) with a new one (wanted to replace same one, size, etc.) However this one was not the same quality as the previous one! Constant issues with the fridge beeping, thermostat not registering correctly, drawers cracking. Good part was: Viking did stand by their product. They sent a warranty service repair out MANY times, however they could solve the problem. After approx. 6 visits, I requested a return/refund of the product to Viking, and they did approve the return. I was very grateful that I was not stuck with a $9k product that would not work.
