The BEST WASHER you can buy. Clothes come out clean no soap residue. I mean really clean clothes. Yes you can load up the washer . Queen size comforter fits and it comes out clean. It does not tear clothes up at all . Bottom line worth every penny spent on it. Yes 28 minutes to wash clothes.

I really do not like "Smart appliances, as they tell me what to do rather than me telling them what to do" However, this has been a great washer. It never tells me my load is too small or that I cannot have hot water.

Does a load in 28 minutes! Cheaper in the long run
Below I added a comment stating it does not wash in 28 minutes. I thought I was reviewing the TR7, that takes 50-60 minutes a load. The reviewer was correct, it does a load in about 28 mins. Old Speed Queen lasted 20 plus years. The mid dated ones, like mine lasted about 12 years. The new ones, I am seeing more repair s needed articles and forum comments. I expect 3-10. Still better than the 3 months to 2 years other branded junk out there. So, Speed Queen, buy 1 for 5 years. Other brands, buy 2 to 3 in 5 years. Makes the Speed Queen cheaper. Plus we get water level choices, not jut no water, to a full tub and nothing in between. Obviously a little harder that the TR7 on clothes, but it actually cleans them.

Clothes can get off center
We bought a speed queen top-loading washer over two years ago. The repair man recommended Speed Queen. He said they never break down. My recommendation is to get the front-loading machine. The clothes will shift in the top loading washer and get off-center. The washing machine will start thumping, and you must run up and adjust the laundry. Because of this, we do not wash if we are going somewhere. The front loader does not have this problem.
