Buying the Salamader TV stand was a big hassle.
Buying this piece of furniture turned into a big hassle. Don’t buy it! If it wasn’t for all the effort we put into getting it in the house we would have returned it. First, to say “No assembly required” is not true. You have to turn the unit onto its back and attach five legs. After it was upright again, one of the doors fell off. Both doors had to be adjusted; the instructions to do this are worthless, so we had to figure out how to do it. The adjustments were tedious - you have to make sure the doors don’t rub on the top, bottom or each other. We called the factory asking to have someone sent over to fix this problem under the warranty, but they don’t have people in our area – which means there really is no warranty. After 3 ½ hours we had the legs on and doors adjusted. But there’s more: there was a sticker on the glass part of one of the doors saying how wonderful this piece is – which took another 30 minutes and quite a bit of “Goof Off” cleaner to remove. Considering how expensive this piece of furniture is we expected better quality and better support. Don’t buy it! As usual the service at Best Buy was great: they brought the unit out, let us inspect it, and then loaded it into the van for us. Best Buy has always given us good service and straight forward answers – but they could do better by not selling this piece of furniture

Happy!
I got the open box model for $130 after tax. I am not dissapointed in was in brand new condition. Fits all my devices comfortably and then some. Doesn't take up much room and fits my 42" beautifully.

Solid piece of furniture
This is a very nice stand. It gives a somewhat contemporary look - except for the round knobs. I changed the knobs to square ones that match the look of the window panes. Although it is taller than the average stand (31 inches tall), I would like it even more if it was a little taller. I also think it's a bit expensive at full price. However, I was able to purchase it from Best Buy at a great price.

Great Stand... Functional and Stylish!
I wanted a stand that was functional and provides great cord management and component accessibility. My wife wanted something that was stylish. This stand gives both. There are holes between shelves where cables can easily be fed through to connect components. It has sliding panels in the back so you could access the back of any of your components. Stand comes 99% assembled. I only needed to screw on the feet of the stand and the knobs of the doors and that's it. Also, your remotes will still control your components through the glass of the doors when closed. Just a great well thought out TV Stand!!

this product is not worth the cost, it was damage, it was not even, one side higher than the other side

SOLID!!! 4.75 stars and not 4
This isn't one of those "you put it together" type pieces of furniture. It's very solid and looks amazing. The only reason I'm not giving 5 stars is that the screws used for the 4 legs that you do have to attach were not long enough. It was a bit irritating until I found the correct length.
