    Great product, easy installation

Posted by Joseph Esparza on 22nd Jun 2024

This was my first time installing an aftermarket head unit - being installed in a 2014 honda CRV LX. The instructions tell you what you need to know, don't overthink it. I also reached out to PAC and they have chat support that was also super helpful for any questions. Personally feel like the response time for volume and skipping a song is fast than the factory.

    Needs to be better

The steering wheel buttons can be very touchy at times, and require you to press really hard and multiple times for it to register

Not for CR-Vs with Nav unless you want to re-wire

Posted by Kayla Walsh on 21st May 2024

Per manufacturer's site (2012-2014 CR-V models equipped with navigation are not compatible as the pin-out is different). Tech Bulletin: https://catalog.pac-audio.com/index.php?controller=attachment&id_attachment=818. Order my own and had Best Buy attempt to install but it failed.

    Very Poor Installation Experience

Posted by Michael Dillon on 29th Apr 2024

Worst customer experience I've had in a very long time. Ordered a Pioneer head unit and all the recommended installation accessories, arrived to the store, waited for 2 hours, then the install tech said the best buy recommended harness won't work. So he instructs me to order a different harness from Crutchfield. I take a picture of the new harness from his monitor, order it and then come back next week. When I arrive next week, after an hour, I'm told they made a mistake and this is the wrong harness. They told me to order the WRONG ONE AGAIN. I decided to return everything and take my business elsewhere. Long story short. Question everything they tell you and make sure you have the right parts. These guys do not know what they are doing, so you cannot just trust what they tell you or you will end up very frustrated.
