Squeaky, Squeaky,
The chair itself is comfortable with good rocking ability. We bought this in lieu of a rocking chair to help comfort our newborn baby. There are two issues I have with the chair. One is it is a bit lower than I anticipated making it difficult to get up out of the chair with a newborn in your arms. Which is more specific to my situation, obviously. The second issue is the spring box that allows the chair to rock and swivel is incredibly squeaky. I recently tried to used white lithium grease to make it more soundless (that I use on my truck) because WD-40 had no effect. The lithium grease has had a noticeable effect on dampening the squeakiness, but I am wondering how long it will last.
