Musical, detailed sound MODEL 30 is built on its own discrete circuit board, the Hyper-Dynamic Amplifier Module, or HDAM. By custom-curating hundreds of individual parts, HDAM significantly outperforms standard integrated circuits to create the unique musicality you always expect from Marantz.
Marantz Musical Premium Phono EQ Envisioned to deliver optimal sound quality by simplifying the signal path, the Phono EQ stage in the MODEL 30 amplifier can be used with both moving magnet and low-output moving coil cartridges, thanks to a built-in MC head amplifier.
MC / MM phono input impedance selector Optimize sound performance with moving coil (MC) or magnetic moving (MM) cartridges. MODEL 30 is equipped with an input impedance selector that can be adjusted to three different settings: MC LOW (33 ohm), MC MID (100 ohm) and MC HIGH (390 ohm).
Analog-feel Volume Control Newly developed electric volume control uses the latest volume control IC to realize better channel separation, dynamic range and distortion-reduction. You'll always get the volume precisely how you want it.

Switching Power Amplification MODEL 30 maintains the purest possible sound and supports the power needed to drive the most demanding speakers, delivering 2x100W into an 8ohms load, and easily copes with low impedance speakers thanks to a 2x200W output into 4ohms.
Twin power supplies A clean power supply is dedicated exclusively to preamp to ensure high purity. The amplification power supply delivers high current instantaneously. The MODEL 30 will follow even the hardest bass attacks and provides clean power for the reproduction of the finest details.
Multiple Analog Inputs In addition to phono and CD analog inputs, MODEL 30 features two line-level inputs and one pair of recorder input/output jacks that enable the connection of multiple sources and recorders.
Main In and Pre Outs Use MODEL 30 as a standalone stereo power amplifier for additional system configuration versatility with the included power amp direct input. For example, use the front pre-outs of your AV setup and run them through MODEL 30 power amps.

Beautiful and Powerful
A beautiful addition to any audio stack that can power just about anything you throw at it with the added ability to add external power amps later. Only real flaw is the remote comes with a bunch of features that are unusable without the matching SACD30N player, which to say isnt that huge of a flaw to begin with.

Best bang for the buck......imho.
Yet another fine example of ya get what you pay for. This amp ROCKS. I've mated this amp with Definitive Technology's Model BP9060 speakers and have arrived at my musical nirvana. In the not too distant future, I plan on purchasing the Bowers & Wilkins - 700 Series 3 speakers for use as my primary reference system. LOTS of reviews out there regarding the Marantz / Bowers & Wilkins marriage....all of it good from what little research I've done so far. If you're looking for audiophile HiFi quality at a rock bottom price, this Marantz provides in droves for half the price of most other true audiophile worthy HiFi amps. In my humble opinion, the Model 30 provides the nearest thing to a tube amplifier's warm sound without tubes OR the higher price of a well built tube amplifier.....say from McIntosh or other high end manufacturers. Bottom line; Just GET IT and forget about buyer's remorse because you will NOT have ANY remorse what so ever.
