    Logi g915

Great keyboard, especially wit the Logi gaming software. However, Logitech has priced it pretty high which is unfortunate. I am glad I got it and I love the response and feedback when typing. High quality and I have used competitor keyboards and must say this is one of the best. But with the price, do your research first.

    Great Gaming Keyboard!

Posted by Rose Jensen on 13th May 2024

Logitech has knocked it out of the park with there new G915 TKL keyboard! The G915 really oozes with quality is sleek well built and a real looker. The new smaller design without the number pad gives you more room to position your mouse and keyboard just the way you want them with a smaller footprint. I chose the Linear keyed version and the travel and responsiveness are excellent and very smooth while feeling sturdy at the same time. When playing games I find that I feel more comfortable using this keyboard compared to my old full-sized one. I actually like the shorter travel of Logitechs GL switches compared to the Cherry-MX and they feel very robust as well with quick rebound capabilities for great response time in critical moments. The G-Hub software is an easy way to assign commands to the F-Keys and control the lighting which has a large variety of preset options most of which can be further customized and fine-tuned to your exact liking. The lightspeed wireless seems to work well and the media control center with the volume roller is a nice touch as well. I did have some kind of issue once with the keyboard losing a connection or something but it would not work until I rebooted my computer but I have not had any problems since that one episode. I had been messing with the keyboard settings on Windows 10 so maybe that had something to do with it. Overall my experience with the G915 TKL has been excellent. I am definitely impressed with this compact wireless gaming keyboard and think it is a great choice for anyone looking for a keyboard with a smaller footprint that is top-notch in quality with impressive performance and ergonomics!

Love it and you might too!

One of the best keyboards out there. If you do not like using wrist rests then this is a good option. It keeps your wrists from harsh angles. The battery life is good, I've charged it once in the last two weeks and I use it every day for gaming and productivity. I have the linear red switches and though they are quiet I think I would prefer the tectile browns. Love the RGB but Logitech software isn't the most friendly. The overall build is amazing. It feels solid and firm but the key caps have a bit of a wobble that bothers me as keyboard enthusiast. If I shake the keyboard you can hear the keycaps move. ALSO, it's not worth $250+, try to get it on sale if you can. No keyboard is worth that much unless its custom made.

    Sleek Gaming Keyboard

Posted by Jane Ellis on 29th Apr 2024

After looking for a nice sized gaming keyboard for a while, I saw the G915 TKL and decided to try it out. It is an aluminum, polished, sleek looking keyboard! Although it does not have the number pad on the side, it is nice for those whom want a smaller, thinner keyboard and would enjoy it's portability. Adding on to the portability, they included a nylon type cable for charging and a small hole on the back of the keyboard for storing the small USB dongle when traveling. All in all this is a polished, clean looking keyboard. Nice additions of this keyboard include being able to use the keyboard via the USB dongle or via Bluetooth, having a volume spinner and play buttons to control sound, and the extra features Logitech has offered in their keyboards like specific lighting animations. Logitech, via their G Hub app, allows for you to change the colors of each individual key and to create color animations. Something you can get very creative with! Its a nice touch. Coming in three different variations, you can choose from Clicky, Tactile, or Linear switches for the G915. I personally favored the Linear switch for the fast clicks, no bump, and modest sound making keys versus the Clicky (louder sounding keys) and Tactile (bump feeling when pressing down on the keys and slight more noise) switches but to each their own. I can directly say the key response on the Linear switch is fantastic and have sped up reaction times for me when playing games or during regular typing. My only gripe to this keyboard would be Logitech not adding custom macro buttons like on the bigger sized G915. You can still customize the F1 - F12 keys via their G Hub application but it would've been something nice to have added on. Still, this is a tradeoff for how compact this keyboard is and the battery life. This keyboard lasts a total of 40 hours while on 100% brightness! When compared to the larger G915, the larger keyboard lasts 30 hours on 100% brightness. Overall, this is a beautiful looking keyboard with everything I was personally looking for (looks great, small sized keyboard with regular sized keys, and has nice touches like individual key color assignment and volume spinner). It is also very thin and what can I say, its definitely a product you can buy and fall in love since it's something you would use every day!

Premium keyboard at a premium price.

Only giving it 4 stars due to the price, it is expensive for a keyboard, but otherwise, for me, the features justify the price. Ultra responsive, adjustable rgb, small, sturdy, and beautiful looking. Nice to get rid of cords and have a clean desk setup. Highly recommended if you can look past the price.

    Great Gaming Keyboard

Posted by Robert Copeland on 25th Apr 2024

Daughter loves her new gaming keyboard. Much smaller footprint than the previous one. She loves all the lighting options on the keys..almost endless customization. The first thing we noticed when taking this out of the box was how heavy and well made it feels. Aircraft aluminum on top of a solid build. We got the Linear Key option (quieter keys) Pro's: Volume wheel - I wish all keyboards had this. Dedicated Audio buttons No key delay Easy set up Programmable buttons for game actions Dedicated connection buttons Low Profile Wireless - (up to 40hr battery life) USB, Lightspeed Wireless or Bluetooth connection options Cons- GHUB software a little clumsy Pricey Overall, if you are a gamer looking for a low profile, wireless, high performing keyboard, you will be pleased. I cant speak for durability yet, but I am assuming it will be good as it is made by Logitech.

    G915 TKL Linear Review

Posted by Jonathan Smith on 23rd Apr 2024

This keyboard checks all the boxes. It's wireless, low latency, and in TKL form factor, which works great if you want to save some desk space while still having full functionality. The battery life is amazing! While the RGB is pretty neat, if disabled, the total run time on this KB is estimated to be around10000 hours according to GHUB (the companion software). I purchased the linear switch version, which works great for me as I love the easy, fluid pressdown of the keys. Now that i've had such a great wireless experience, I don't think I can go back to wired! It's just that well executed.

    Good but not great

Posted by Sharon Carter on 23rd Apr 2024

Overall, the G915 (full-size or TKL alike) is a good keyboard for those seeking a low-profile wireless keyboard, but there are a few key downfalls that make the $200+ price tag seem like a gimmick. Customization in Logitech's G Hub software has good functionality but the program is very slow to start and can be frustrating at times. Pros: - flawless wireless connection - excellent battery life (YMMV) - Logitech's GL linear switches offer a mostly good typing/gaming experience - well implemented RGB lighting - media controls & backlight brightness toggle - metal chassis (aluminum?) with feet underneath - easy to read keycap font Cons: - grossly expensive - ABS keycaps - mushy media buttons - unnecessarily high price tag - smooth scroll wheel makes volume adjustments annoying and tedious. it also has a very high latency between scrolling and the volume actually changing - the wireless USB receiver does not work with other Logitech devices such as the G Pro X Superlight - have I mentioned that it's overpriced? - the GL linear switches rattle, but have about the same keycap wobble as Cherry MX Red LP or Gateron Red LP switches
