    Heavy on features and weight

Posted by Wendy Parsons on 26th May 2024

Image is fantastic for all, but the professional graphic accuracy work. Great anyone who wants a really large display. I use for prudctivity work and it offers tons of spce to work on. Works perfectly stable on my M1 Mac mini. There are 4 inputs, but only two offer 4k/60FPS unfortunately the other two are 4k/30fps. Kinda lame. Having a remote is a lofe saver as I need the monitor a bit furthar away due to its size. Now for my biggest complaint and that is the weight. It is seriously double the weight of LG's 40" ultrwide display. Maybe because of it's four direct inputs that allow for Split View of four separate computers. Yes, you can have unto four split screens directly from this display. Maybe those power inputs add weight, but either way this is one heavy display, 40lbs heavy. Wowza! I got it on sale for $450, regular price is even a grood price compared to other less featured displays.

    Great Monitor with Great Features.

Posted by Jason Hodges on 24th May 2024

I have only had the monitor for a couple of weeks but I am very happy with my purchase so far. I really like the PBP/PIP abilities and the numerous available inputs. Also, the included remote makes navigating all the functions a cinch. A must have for WFH or for those wishing to switch from using multiple monitors.

    I use it for everything!

I've had this monitor for a year and still love it. I work from home so this acts as my work monitor during the day and then TV at night. It's large enough that I can split it into 4 21-inch screens.

    Very satisfied !!!!

Posted by John Mills on 22nd May 2024

I bought this to replace 2 - 20" for a work-at-home setup. I have had this monitor for 2 years and have had no complaints. The 4k resolution is amazing when doing CAD. I put it on a Heavy Duty Monitor Arm Desk Mounts. This monitor has many features that I am not using since it is solely used for work. It comes standard with the LG split screen, my most used feature. I can have 4 screens on "one screen"

    Great for home office/guest room!

Posted by Christopher Grimes on 6th May 2024

Bought this to replace 2 - 24" and 1 - 27" display setup that I had in my home office. Very happy with it so far. Hooked up a 4k fire stick and the pip option is pretty nice when multitasking. Perfect for my set up since wit will also double as a screen in our guest room. Color seems to be accurate. I use it for photo editing, data processing, CAD, and streaming video. Only flaw i have noticed is that the edges aren't viewable from all angles but not that big of a deal.

Amazing quality! The graphics are outstanding as well. This monitor helps me on a daily basis with my job!! It’s much better than staring at a small laptop screen all day.

    LG 43" 4K Monitor

Excellent monitor to replace dual monitors, using with 2018 Mac mini. Setup was straightforward, love the remote and included speakers which are decent. BB price was better than a similar monitor from Dell.

LG 43-inch Monitor overly big - nice!

Posted by Anthony Rice on 16th Apr 2024

Love the size. More than enough to review two documents at once. So big I don't need my reading glasses. Didn't realize at first that only HDMI ports 3 and 4 run at 60Hz, but 1 and 2 run at 30Hz. Much better at the higher rate. Nice that it also has DP and USB-C. The remote is handy for on/off and changing between inputs on desktop and laptop dock. Speakers are pretty reasonable, not tinny. The support base has a huge foot (13.5 x 10.5), and sticks out in back so far that the front face of the screen is actually 8.5 inches from the wall. Screen does tip forward and back, but not rotate side to side. Okay for my needs. Makes my old 27-inch monitor look like a toy.

Dead in less than 3 weeks

Posted by Jorge Moore on 13th Apr 2024

The LG 43" monitor I purchased lasted less than 3 weeks before suddenly dying completely while I was using my PC. (I appreciate Best Buy standing behind it and accepting my return, despite technically being slightly outside the return window.) Outside of that, there were about a half dozen pixels dead in the upper left of the screen, and the right edge of the screen was noticeably darker than the rest. I considered the flaws minor enough to overlook them, although the Dell 43" monitor I have replaced it with is definitely superior in many ways, albeit at a somewhat higher price.
