New LG customer
Replaced our 20 yr old front load Siemens w/d combo with a new top load LG w/d. Was leary about LG but after reading reviews and a recommendation from our family, we decided to purchase both. Very easy installation and operation.

Got a new dryer, got wet clothes, dryer won't open
I think I will like this dryer. Presently there is a problem with the door. It doesn't open all the way. A technician is supposed to come next Thursday (1 whole week wait) to fix it.

Efficient dryer
It's a very basic dryer. Nothing special. Was more expensive than the Samsung dryer I had originally picked out but was not working when we got it hooked up.

Flawed Design And Function
This is a great looking dryer, but there are some functional and design flaws that make me question my purchase. First, and most concerning, is the fact that unless you manually select the "very dry" setting, none of the default presets results in fully dry clothing or towels. If this is advanced sensing, what's the point? Who wants damp clothes? Looking at the instruction manual was not a big help, as it only addresses load size and blockages of the filter or vent, which are not my issues. In terms of flawed design, the control panel is black (without backlighting), but the labels are kind of grey, so they do not stand out, making them hard to see. And, finally, the interior light does not automatically come on, unless the power button is pushed. I own other LG appliances that work very well, but I cannot recommend this gas dryer.

Works great and senses load size. Nice clean look. I miss some of the more manual buttons though.

I would highly recommend the LG washing machine and dryer recently purchased. The number of options for the type of wash and capacity required is "spot on", for my family's needs. Thank you Best Buy and LG.

Fits Our Needs Perfectly!
Very happy with our new LG washer and dryer set. Option to open the dryer door 2 ways is a nice feature. Also lights up inside. This replaced the GE Profile set that we had for 3 days and sent back due to dissatisfaction with product.
