KitchenAid is a Winner
This is a gift so has not been used yet. However, my wife and I have been married 55 years and have never been without a KitchenAid Mixer. We've worn a couple out because I have made all our bread for the past 25 years. We had a couple of problems within the warranty period and KitchenAid has always responded positively. We expect our grandson's new wife will enjoy hers, just as both our daughters have liked the ones we purchase for them when they got married,

The mixer is user-friendly with straightforward controls. The tilt-head design makes it simple to add ingredients and change attachments. However, its weight can be a drawback for users with limited counter space who need to store it after each use. Personally I am obsessed and i think it’s worth the $, 10000000%. OG Stand Mixer. Fully functional with numerous capabilities. Comes with basic attachments, but many others can be purchased and used in conjunction with this OG. The OG is fairly heavy though, so help Grams.

Wish I had bought it years ago!
Out of the box, the KitchenAid Metallic Chrome Artisan Stand Mixer is beautiful. I've now used it to make cookies of many types and with the slicer and dicer attachment several main dishes. It works beautifully and I am in love with it. I'm fortunate that, although I have a small kitchen, I have a work table that I keep this appliance on all the time. Therefore, no heavy lifting. If I needed to put it away after every use it would be annoying because it is a solid heavy mixer. It's become something I am using almost every day.

I love this mixer!
I watched for sales and read reviews before making a decision to buy this mixer. I didn't need anything huge but wanted a mixer with a big enough motor to handle bread dough and divinity. This mixer does both with ease. I find it enjoyable to bake again. The hand mixer I had been using just couldn't handle stiffer mixtures and my arms were not always strong enough to mix by hand. It's a joy to be able to bake what I want not on what my arms would tolerate.

I've always wanted a Kitchenaid mixer and I finally got one. I have no regrets, I love it and it lives up to its name and quality. I know I haven't had it that long BUT it has been wonderful to use. I use it very often. It's very easy to use, I like the attachments but for me they are not all necessary. I was sick and tired of my hand mixer, it was just not working for me, so I saved up my money to buy this mixer.
