    Excellent brand quality

Wonderful buy, excellent addition to my home theater, these are power hungry, keep in mind you need a good receiver to enjoy the quality.

    They're very good!

Posted by Rebecca Wolfe on 21st Jun 2024

Upgrading from an outstanding passive Boston Acoustics soundbar to these, paired with the Q250c center channel speaker, powered by the Pioneer VSX-LX 505. So far, for movies I've been very impressed, great stage presence and separation. For music I'm still playing with the set up, going from small to large on the receiver and while I can tell the difference, the problem is that I like'em both, small w/ sub and large without, they're that good! If you research these speakers, you know the only complaints about them are the rigger feet (yes, it is true, they're ugly!) and the lack of accessories that should be included with them (i.e rubber feet for tile & wood floors and the magnetic grills). Just wrong that KEF is nickel & diming customers. Wish I could give them a half star for this. But sound wise they're great. Want to also try the Wharfedale Diamond 12's, so I might do that, given Best Buy 60 day return policy.

    Best Speakers I’ve ever purchased

Posted by Joshua Combs on 7th Jun 2024

These speakers sound absolutely amazing! I primarily brought them to listen to my vinyl albums. The sound is so crisp and clear. The mid and base sounds clearer as the volume increases. I have them hooked up to a Denon AVR. Watching movies feels like you are in a theater. I couldn’t recommend these speakers enough. They are worth every penny.

    Accurate sound reproduction

Posted by Wesley Wright on 7th Jun 2024

5.1.4 system using all Kef, 750s front, 350s rear, 250 center, with dolby atmos q50a. Did it this way so my 5 floors all had 6.5 inch drivers and an accurately dispursed sound field. I dont like the sound near the screen but everywhere in the room. This setup does the job. Accuracy is rediculous. 750s are so spatial sounds like the center is on when it's just the 2 speakers in stereo. These are paired with Paradigm v12 difiance sub, but Im sure the kef cube would do just as well. Ideally these work best in a home theater but will not provide the bottom end you need without a sub, with the sub they are spectacular. Runing denon 3600 avr but added marantz 7055 amp for extra power. Listening to streaming music in stereo on these is an absolute pleasure. Kef delivers wonderful accurate sound reproduction with subdued highs, not overpowering like other brands, everything is there, but its not an "in your face" overdone speaker. B ans Os and Klipsch are great but too much blasting highs for me, listen to them all, it's all about personal preference. This is British audiophile sound at its best!! Cons: purchase of metal saucers to protect floors from spikes, but you get much better sound with these elevated off the floor in the stands. Make sure you position these ar least 2 feet from any adjacent walls. Had to buy the grills separately.

    Great Speakers

Posted by Thomas Gilmore on 5th Jun 2024

Phenomenal floor speakers! Arguably the Q850 would have been a better choice for my (larger) media room, but the price of the Q750 was too good to pass up. Strongly suggest including the center channel speaker, sub(s), and bookshelf speakers to complete the system (esp for home theater). Wish the grills were included (w/the price)!

I like these over the Klipsch RP-280 towers

Posted by Dr. Kelly Robinson on 23rd May 2024

I had some free cash and decided to compare these against some R3’s and my RP-280’s. These guys are good looking and have a more open soundstage than the RP-280’s. The bass feels more warm and free to move. The cabinets aren’t as braced which hurts resolution but kinda provides a warm quality to the sound including Bass. The RP-280 is just as resolving of detail but is confined to the limited sweet spot of the Horn. The Bass is more Punchy and hits harder. Likes a decent power amp behind them. The R3 is just better at everything except the fuller sound that a Tower Speaker provides. It’s better at detail retrieval, more defined and wider sound stage, tighter bass where applicable.
