    Beast Gpu

This card delivers amazing preformance and works great with 1080 and 1440p. Rendering is very fast and i could get 144+ fps in some games with high settings. It also has 12 gb of vram which is more than enough to handle most titles out there. I would definitely recommend this card if your looking for an upgrade.

If You Want a 40 Series GPU...

Posted by Antonio Villa on 22nd Jun 2024

This Gigabyte Eagle OC RTX 4070 is a well built GPU with fantastic cooling. If you're looking for a 40 series card & don't want to spend the extra money, the Gigabyte RTX 4070 is worth the buy. Out of ALL of the new 40 series GPU's, the Gigabyte Eagle OC RTX 4070 is worth the money. I was a huge fan of EVGA GPU's in the past. Especially, when it came to MY OWN custom builds. When EVGA stopped making NVIDIA graphics cards, I wasn't sure where to go. I'm glad I went with Gigabyte. Overall they are reputable & build quality computer components. So, if you want a NEW generation 40 series Graphics card that wont break the bank, you should go with this graphics card.

    Amazing 1440p gaming experience!

Posted by Rachel Phillips on 10th Jun 2024

I was skeptical at first, but after using for some time now, had a 3070 and decided to go with this for better frames and Ray tracing experience, blows everything out of the water! Crazy thing is it uses less power than last generation and give better performance!

Overpriced, too little VRAM, but a nice card

Posted by Veronica Duke on 29th May 2024

I know, I know. It's only got 12G of VRAM but hey, I needed a new card and wanted to stick with NVIDIA for now for DLSS and Ray-Tracing. I considered going to a 6800XT for the extra VRAM but none of them was short enough to fit in my case. This 4070 Eagle is one of the shortest of the new generation cards at only 10.5 inches long, so it works great smaller cases. So far it runs like a champ. I gained about 20-30 frames at 1440p over a 3070 in most games. Also the 4070 uses less power and runs cooler than most of the AMD cards, so it's a good option if you have an older, less powerful PSU or a case with less than stellar airflow. The only quirks I found are with the RGB lighting, and the hard-wired fan profiles. First, to get the RBG logo to change from the default blue, you have to install Gigabyte's RGBFusion app. Thankfully you only have to run it once to set the color profile you want. After that you shouldn't have to run it again. Also another minor annoyance is that no matter how hard I try, I can't set a custom fan curve. I've tried with MSI Afterburner, FanControl, and even EVGA Precision X. No matter what I do, the fans ignore the curve and stay off until the card hits around 50 degrees. I've decided to just accept this for now because so far during gaming I haven't seen the temps go above 66 degrees. That's at about 54% fan speed, and still acceptable noise level. Overall I'm glad I got this card, even though I paid way too much for it. This is a $500 card, tops.
