This remarkably versatile X Series zoom lens offers an equivalent focal range of 107-457mm and a minimum close focusing distance of 32.7in (0.83m) throughout, achieving 0.33x maximum tele macro magnification. It is also possible to pair the lens with XF1.4X TC WR and XF2X TC WR teleconverters to achieve a huge equivalent focal length of up to 914mm in exchange for only 2 stops of stop-loss. Autofocus is driven by a linear motor for fast, near-silent autofocus precision, while the built-in Optical Image Stabilization (OIS) provides up to 5.5 stops of vibration reduction. All this ensures you're always ready to make images, whether it's the undergrowth beneath your feet, or a tree on a distant horizon. This much ability often requires a trade-off in size, but XF70-300mmF4-5.6 R LM OIS WR's 17 elements in 12 groups, including two ED elements, are housed within a highly portable body that measures just 5.2in (132.5mm) in length and weighs 1.3lb (580g). No other like it
This lens is a sleeper, incredible IQ for the compact size and the only compact telephoto lens that accepts teleconverters. The single one downside in my opinion is built, it’s all plastic but I think they purposely did to keep the weight down, just think of the fuji 55-200 but with better IQ, more reach and teleconverter option in the same size and weight.

Great upgrade from 50-230mm
As an amateur photographer I didnt originally want to spend too much on a zoom lens since I rarely use but after using Fuji XC 50-230mm for a few years, I realized that I wanted a better quality lens. This is faster, sharper and has weather seal. Cant complain. Great glass!

Great overall lens with a couple quirks
Great lens overall. The aperture ring is a bit loose and the focus is a bit stiff, but the image quality is outstanding. The lens is nice and light - easy to carry around all day. It certainly makes the most of the new 40mp sensors. It's a little bit overpriced compared to similar offerings by other camera companies. Should be priced more like 600 USD.

Amazing lens for the money
Great light and affordable zoom lens. This is my primary lens for hiking/outdoor shots. It is very light (compared to DSLR 70/200mm) to carry with my Black Rapid strap. Paired with my XT2…it’s a great combination. Typical/expected Fuji sharpness that I’ve come to expect.

Overall really good lens
Been using this lens for a while, fun lens, not that heavy and big for the reach, you can do some macros as well, not like extreme close up, but good enough, good for portrait as well. But somehow this lense have no firmware update since forever.

This is best balanced telephoto lens, if you don't want a huge heavy one but you still want to have a usable sharp telephoto lens with relative light weight, small size. This is the only choice? fujifilm doesn't have a afc
