good gen 4 ssd for around 70 dollars/tb. Not the fastest and no vram boost but better than any gen 3 ssd (if you are gen 4 pcie capable and your goal is for modern hardware)

The SSD to get for PS5
Although this SSD falls slightly below Sony's recommended specs, that's what they're recommendations and not requirements. This thing works perfectly in my PS5, was easy to install, and reads/writes fast. Make sure to get yourself a heat sink elsewhere, and you've nearly tripled your storage for PS5 games for just over $60.

Once installed just needed to give configure on windows 11 and give it a name and worked perfectly. Very reliable I used this to download all my games on it. 10/10 recommend especially if it’s in special.
