Overall pretty good
The backboard could be sturdier but other than that the shelf is good. Putting it together was a breeze and I use it to store a mix of books, games and decorative items.

Nice bookshelf
Excellent bookshelf. The instructions could have been written a little better. But still doesn't take an expert to figure out. finished rather quickly and it looks great in the living room

Great looking and sturdy bookshelf
Overall, this is a very nice looking bookshelf that is quite sturdy when fully loaded up. All pieces fit together nicely, with all metal fasteners. From start to finish, it took about 90 minutes to assemble by myself. A couple tips: The back of the bookshelf is made of a thick card-stock material and will look like it doesn't quite fit until you put the top of the bookshelf on to hold it all together. Once the top is put on, it all ties together nicely. The bevelled edges are durable and heavy, but be careful when attaching to the face of the bookshelf. This was one of the last steps in assembly and easily was the most difficult step. Take your time and don't force anything.

Pain to put together and cannot support books.
This was a head ache to put together. The construction took what could of been a simple into complicated adding unnecessary steps into the equation. the measurement often seem not to fit when line up correctly leading to constant irritation. Once the shelf was complete there was gap between the length of the shelf and the font end of the book shelf. When I put a book on the shelf it would tilt it forward and fall to the ground. This issue can be resolved by adding spacers between the two points to fill the gap, but its really a pain that i would have to buy something extra to make a BOOK CASE WORK. Now I have to take this product apart to take it back to best buy. Save yourself the hassle and get another shelf.

More than just a "book" case. The distance between the shelves are perfect for displaying those special objects you love. The taller "coffee table" books fit perfectly, too. Assembly required, but I love it!
