Would definitely recommend
What I expected, beautiful prints. Everything about printing at home is expensive, but you dont but a printer to save money. Im loving the result im getting with the Imageprograf 1000. Would definitely recommend it to anyone looking to add another layer to their photography.

I love it!!!
I’ve debated for so long to get this pro1000 and I do not regret it one bit! I get to print in the comfort of my own home and the printer is pretty fast on printing quality pictures.

Pro Level print quality
Absolutely an awesome printer. The quality of the prints has been professional to say the least. I was worried about investing in such an expensive printer and I am happy that I made the investment. This is absolutely a pro level printer so be prepared to pay it in the up keep for ink and paper. I will say its worth every penny so far.

Keeps breaking
I purchased this printer and it gives great color. it's also easy on ink. However, it has broken twice now in two years. Both times it stopped taking sheets from the auto sheet feeder. We've tried everything to get it to work but it seems a defect in the feed mechanism. This time Best Buy refused to honor the extended four year warranty, saying I cancelled it, which is just ludicrous. Great printer when it works.

Excellent for a photographer or artist
This is an amazing professional printer. I have spent countless money sending my print orders out to large print houses and now I can just complete the same quality at home. Highly recommend for a photographer or artist with an interest in selling prints. Pros: excellent quality and easy to set up Cons: takes up a lot of space (if you have a small office), ink is a bit expensive to replace

You can't go wrong with this beast.
I had been thinking about buying this printer for quite some time. when I finally decided to buy it, it didn't disappoint. The extra colors really make a big difference in enhancing photos and bringing them to life. I would recommend this printer to anyone. This printer has got to be hard to beat.

Flawless Printer
I chose this printer after about 6 months of analyzing the alternatives. It replaced my Pro-100. Out of the box everything worked. Setup is a bit complex, but faultless following direction carefully. To date I have printed more than 100 prints ranging from a few 8.5x11 up to a number of borderless 27x22’s, a bunch of 27x25’s and 17x36 panoramas. No jams, no ink clogging, simply flawless operation. Prints are simply stunning. I use primarily 68# luster and semigloss stock, sometimes metallic. I read a lot of traffic on “wasted ink” used for its various cleaning cycles. I am happy that it keeps itself in good condition so that when I’m ready to print, it is also. It has a cool feature that shuts the printer down when any of the ink cartridges are, I think, completely spent. My experience is that occurs about a week or so of printing after it first warn of low ink. Plenty of time to order and receive a replacement.
