The keyboard pins destroyed the laptop
The keyboard pins are so hard and exposed that they literally left dot-like dings around the groove on the laptop itself. Also, these pins will leave scratches on your wood table. They ahould have come with recessed pins. This seems like a design flaw.

Transformational form factor revolutionizes remote
Now I can work with two fully-functional 14" displays from anywhere, and it all comes in a light, powerful package. And with a removable Bluetooth keyboard, I no longer have to drag around my portable keyboard and mouse. And it doesnt cost a bazillion dollars! Where has this been my whole life?

Ordered two. Both arrived DOA.
I was really looking forward to using this to improve my workflow for investing with the dual screens. I received them a day or so ago and just got around to unboxing one. I plugged the charging cable in and the charging indicator went from red to white which after researching came up as meaning the battery was almost fully charged -- yet the laptop would not power on. Unboxed the second one and exact same thing. Googled and watched YouTube videos thinking maybe there's an off chance I'm doing something wrong but pushing and pushing and holding (some online suggested pushing the power for 30 seconds with no charger and then plugging the charger back in and trying again) but to no avail. Both are being returned now. A shame I was really looking forward to this!

Excellent Next Gen Laptop
This laptop is a great bang for your buck if you know what you’re looking for and wanting in a laptop. I knew that I wanted this laptop based on YouTube reviews and its specs. I will use this laptop honestly for school and just in general for productivity, with it having 2 screens. I really like this laptop; however, I haven’t had that much time to play with it and transfer all of my stuff from my old laptop onto it. I had this laptop for about a week and some days now. So, my review could change later but hopefully not. In addition, I would say that I was going to take it back to exchange it for a new one because the screens weren’t the same out of the box and that kind of annoyed me because this laptop is a decent price. However, I just kept looking up solutions online and I eventually just updated all the updates and just like that, my screens where the same brightness! I have before and after pictures with Max brightness and Min brightness.

Slow boot from hybernation ruins a great machine
I want to absolutely love this device. When this device works, its the best multitasking work/ study device I've ever used. But I cant, purely due to the lag during startup. Almost certainly has to do with how the my asus app interacts with drivers. There is noticeable frame drops, like 15fps during the first minute of re-connection / startup. The APP is the only thing that interacts with Framerate settings, and other startup tasks that leads me to diagnose it as the problem. One other possibility is drivers dealing with dual screens. Lookup forum discussions and multiple people dealing with this issue. In most cases, a clean boot will result in a quick boot. The main issue seems to be with the hibernation and agressive sleep that the device employs. I'm personally willing to deal with it due to how great the other elements of the device are, but I recognize most others will find this unacceptable. Frankly embarrassing to share how cool the device is if it lags when you're showing it off.

Good Product but had a problem
Overall I loved using the laptop. The ability from being able to use 1 or 2 screens depending on what you needed was very helpful, especially for school work where I could have the lecture on top and my notes on the bottom. It was fast and I didn’t have any problems with it not being able to load. However, there was one problem with my laptop, and from what I’ve seen, others online. When scrolling using the touchpad or touchscreen there was a static sound coming from the screen, whether I was using the top or bottom. While not the most deal breaking thing, for a new laptop not even been owned for a whole 2 weeks to get a problem is fairly annoying so I returned my laptop and am hoping to get a new one sometime soon. Assuming you get a laptop that doesn’t have that problem, and you’ll know within the first couple days of using it as had everyone else who had the problem, then you’ll have a very good laptop, especially for the price.

Not bad, start up is terribly slow though.
The laptop is not bad. Everything works fine as advertised but my biggest problem is the start up. The software that runs at the beginning to juggle the dual monitors (even on laptop mode) really lags the computer at start up every time. Even though it’s 32gb ram but wow the start up is probably worse than all of my computers/laptops even though those are +4 years old. Disabling start up programs that I’m able to disable doesn’t help one bit.
